Wow, simply wow. This is truly the first story where this Optimus is explored so in-depth with the hints we have seen about him, and without him giving in: Here, he is bodily inferior to Megatron, but he compensates it with his willpower matching the other's. The idea he can be manipulative never occured to me, but it somehow fits. It stirred my curiousity, though, because I want to know which kind of same justice they both long for.
Maybe it binds to Megatron's pursue of the Matrix. He was after all raped by Nova Prime, but I don't believe this is all of the layers. What interests me about this twist is a possible explanation why the Autobots created a mere rank by the name of Prime in the military asthe Matrix was unaccessible, though the Prime had been almost their religious leader. You would think they'd at least apply the title to Ultra Magnus. Optimus seems to have his own thoughts on this when he persuades Megatron to take him with - only what exactly, you or he didn't tell. There's just the question what will happen if they met resistance, or even some familiar faces... Either way, Optimus can't do much handcuffed.
Apropos... *sly grin* Can we expect some hot interfacing (in enemy territory) because Megatron can't keep his hands of Optimus as it arouses him the other is so helpless?
