It's...aliiiiiive.
Feb. 13th, 2007 09:01 amLast night, my cat proceeded to wake me up every--I swear--TWENTY MINUTES by either leaping just to the left of my face or scratching at the carpet. The carpet in this apartment already resembles a miserable and matted creature, and does not need his help toward further destruction. Therefore, today I will be waking up the cat at every given opportunity, and tickling his paws until he is forced to get up and go somewhere else to get away from me.
Vengeance is petty but sweet.
Oh Lord, it has been a long, long time since I updated. Mostly that was because I had nothing good to report. Life was going on just as it had for months, meaning that during January I applied to some twenty-five companies that never so much as called me back, and I did my daily chores such as crawling back into bed in a fit of sullen depression, or cleaning the catbox. I've also been writing, a new novel that I started on the first day of January (that makes for a nice feeling of new beginnings, I suppose). I still think this one has a lot of potential to be actually good.
This month, I finally reached the level of desperation where my unemployment has run out, and I'm applying for anything advertised in the Golden area. I have an interview tomorrow! Just with FedEx/Kinko's, but at least I'll be able to use some of my design skills, and I'll learn more about printing processes as an added bonus. Cross your fingers for me, if you will. ^_^
