Okay, if you have not seen or read this, you should do so now. Right now. JUST now. I will enhance my recommendation by saying that passive-aggressiveness is something I definitely need to work on, both as a mod and as a person, and I had no idea how bad the problem was or how to go about fixing it until I read this. As a bonus, it's funny as hell, and I snorted chai up my nose while reading it, and now I probably need to go to the hospital. Please send lipgloss and live animals to make me all better, plzkthx.

Seriously, do take the time to read it, especially if you roleplay, or are involved in fandom (pretty much any fandom, anywhere). The last bit of advice (P number 3) is astonishingly true: You cannot take anything in a roleplaying game seriously if you say it out loud in the way the author demonstrates. The thing in TR that hurt me the most? Made me laugh hysterically when I said it out loud.

On other subjects, whoever gave me my virtual gingerbread cookie gift winz teh internets. How could you eated my cookie?! *sob*

This is also another call for your info, if you would like a Christmas card from me, and missed the first post here. ♥ I have lots, and they are very pretty, so request away. If you want to send one to me, ping me or respond in comments here with your email, and I will send my address (provided that I actually, um, know who you are).

And one more thing: My Lazytown secret Santa gave me this lovely fanart of a Christmassy Sportacus. Thank you again, mysterious Santa! I love it!

Err. I feel very awkward asking, but I desperately need a beta for a short fic. It's a little over 3,600 words and the fandom is Lazytown, but it wouldn't matter if you're unfamiliar with the show--I'm looking more for a grammar, spelling and readability check.

I would be grateful pretty much forever, and if you like, I will gladly sketch you for icon or banner purposes in return (you can see my work here, if that helps).
THANK YOU REG. ♥♥♥

Other updates! On the job front, I am waiting to hear back from a company in Vegas which seemed very interested in me, but as this week passes I'm getting less and less hopeful about them. If I don't get an interview from this, I think I'll have to assume there is something very wrong with my portfolio or my demo reel (or both), and I suppose I'll be moving back home at the end of this month to work on both. That isn't exactly good news, but I suppose it's better than waiting around for calls that do not come. My interviews always seem to go well, but I've gotten so few that I think the portfolio must be the problem. I also need to work on a much stronger web site, the thought of which makes me bite my nails a little bit, because I don't consider my HTML or Flash application skills to be very strong (my Flash animation skills are a different story, but I would probably do very well to find a way to learn Actionscripting).

In better news, I finished Nano at just over 52K, and I'm still working on the book, which is almost finished. Unfortunately, it would have to be the first in a series, and I'm a little nervous about that. Even so, I think the idea is good enough to merit a strong edit.

To finish out, um, GIP! Because Pearls Before Swine is currently my favorite comic strip, and the Crockydiles are my happily sick heroes. ♥ Elect mee and i will keel tings 4 u.
